People are saving sea turtles before they freeze and become "stunned" or injured in Texas' historic winter storm The cold-blooded creatures can't regulate their body temperatures - so they become hypothermic, lethargic and unable to swim in freezing conditions. Volunteers are working around the clock and running out of space - but they're saving thousands of turtles. THY UP
