Hello, everyone. Today I'd like to give a simple "thank you" to each and every one of you. The reason I'd like to thank you all today, is because you were just being yourself. Maybe you practiced a hobby, or spent time with someone you love, but whatever it was, I'm very glad that you were yourself. Sometimes we can feel unlike ourselves. we can become frustrated, or angry, and do or say things we later regret. But the best thing you can do during these times, is to think about the cause of your frustration, and do your best to learn from it. Today was my birthday, and to celebrate it, I did some things that like to do. I talked with my friends, I played piano, but most importantly, I was always myself. So thank you for being my neighbor, and especially thank you, for being yourself. Fred Rogers Always our Neighbor 1928-2003
Be proud of yourself today if you Got out of bed Ate a meal Brushed your teeth Drank water Cleaned your room Simple accomplishments deserve recognition, because sometimes they can be big tasks.
"Greatness is consistency. Meditating once is common. Meditating daily is rare. Exercising today is simple. Training every week is simply remarkable. Writing one essay rarely matters. Write every day and you're practically a hero. Unheroic days can make for heroic decades." James Clear
flowerfistandbestialwail In a simple experiment, researchers at the University of Chicago sought to find out whether a rat would release a fellow rat from an unpleasantly restrictive cage if it could. The answer was yes. The free rat, occasionally hearing distress calls from its compatriot, learned to open the cage and did so with greater efficiency over time. It would release the other animal even if there wasn't the payoff of a reunion with it. Astonishingly, if given access to a small hoard of chocolate chips, the free rat would usually save at least one treat for the captive - which is a lot to expect of a rat. The researchers came to the unavoidable conclusion that what they were seeing was empathy - and apparently selfless behavior driven by that mental state. Stop chasing 'success', it's a big word with no practical meaning. Follow your goals instead. Small, consistent daily goals. A goal can be as simple and small as waking up on the same time everyday or browsing an hour less each day. Achieving even such small goals shall eventually raise your happiness bar, which should always be the end goal.

Sage @Mellumjr When my son was born, i created an email address for him. Every achievement and photo taken is sent to that email. When he is old enough, he will get the password and will have all those memories. Sharing this idea for those who may like it to do as well.
