When we were kids occasionally our parent's would bring us to McDonald's. What I always found odd was they would never order something for themselves. Ever. It was always us eating and playing with the happy meal toys and them watching. When asked, they always gave the same boring answer: I'm full or I don't like it.
Mom and dad, how could you not like it or have no place for McDonald's??
Years passed by, I never understood this. Now I am an adult. Now I understand. Damn, the sacrifices they made for us. Just to see us smile or make us feel 'normal'.
