This Florida State football player, Travis Rudolph, spotted this little boy sitting alone during a visit with the team to a middle school. He went over on his own to sit with the boy, when his mother found out she wrote a tear jerking thank you letter. This little fella is autistic and doesn't have many friends so it made his day. I saw a snippit about this on ESPN and have seen nothing about it on fb. Let's all make more of an effort
Clint Smith l've said this before, but one of the only reasons I'm a writer is because I had a teacher in grade who looked at my poem about clouds & said "you can be a writer when you grow up." It stayed forever. Teachers, don't underestimate what your words can do for your students
