Quanesha Burks was raised by her grandparents in
Hartselle, Alabama. At 17, she worked at McDonald's. Her days started at 430 a.m. driving 1 hour to take her grandma to work at the local nursing home, then going home to get her sisters ready for school before dropping them off and then attending her own classes. After school, it was practice, work, homework. NOW SHE'S AN OLYMPIAN.
